Labor Day. Back to work, back to school. This picture I made of Claire, my youngest daughter, at the Jersey shore, many years ago, has always felt, to me, like the end of summer. More tk….
Very nice work Joe. I agree the picture of your daughter evokes the end of summer and in a good way.
Have Caitlin or Claire had any thoughts of taking up the camera professionally either in front or behind. Just checking on the genetics. I’ve seen the pics here of both. Mom most be a beauty.
Hi Joe. Well, Autumn seems to be a little different in NJ than in Norway. Anyway: Great pic, so sponatnious, perfect blurred hair and birds. Time passes. H
What is your picture for 1. day of summer ?
Great picture Joe. I love the seagulls approaching Claire as if to say “hello”
Beautiful portrait, they grow up too fast!!
The late summer breeze, perhaps a storm moving in, your daughter’s posture suggests a chill in the air, a great image to signal the end of summer. Well done!!
What a lovely shot. Tough to think that summer is over but, fall is a great time of year for pics as well. Hey, anytime of the year is good for pics! Cheers!
I got one similar of my daughter (4) that makes me think of the same thing. http://www.flickr.com/photos/limeflyphotography/9588141090/
She started Pre-K a few days ago and she loves it. She even asked me when I was leaving when I dropped her in her classroom the first day. I hope time slows down. It’s going too fast.
Great image Joe.
Very nice capture of the simple enjoyment of the moment.
Beautiful shot depicting the end of summer. Reminds me of my end of summers at the Jersey shore also.
so cuuute… beautiful shot. Phots with children are so true…
Very beautiful photo and very charming place!! I dream to have someday a house like this.
